Week of May 18, 2012
Status: Done, just new ideas
This week we were told to draw up a new idea of how we would want to make a claymore if it was sensor or motion dectector activated. We haven't done that yet. Hopefully over the weekend someone will have drawn one, which will probably be me and we will end up presenting next friday! A picture of the sketch will come.

Goodbye Seniors
Week of May 11, 2012
Status: Seniors gone
This week our class lost all our seniors, so all we did was watch them do their project presentations and we ended up just doing a powerpoint for ours. Also, this week we didn't build any, but Nathan added a "trip wire" (string) to help set off the claymore, and we can put small items inside the launch box and they go pretty far!

Close to the End
Week of May 4, 2012
Status: Finalizing
This week my group and I are finalizing the claymore. We are changing some of the feautres and adding string and putting propper things in the holder to launch paint. Hopefully it will work.
((I'm still working on putting pictures up... I need to email them from my phone to the computer and I've just been busy... Will be coming soon! Sorry!))

Up To Date
Week of April 27, 2012
Status: Finally Up To Date
This week is so relaxing, I am no longer stressing about making up blogs because I have all of them updated. My group and I have also been building for a week now, so we keep making small tweeks on the claymore (that aren't really even noticeable) and trying to make it better. I am working on the pictures being uploaded, I just have to send them from my phone to my email and I haven't done that yet. Hopefully next week the past 2 blogs, including this one, will have some pics to help you look and see our progress!

Started Building
Week of April 20, 2012
Status: Finally we have gotten all the parts and can begin building
This week will be much more eventful. We finally have gathered the parts (pictures to come) and have started creating our claymore! Sure it won't be a professional one and it will probably look nothing like what you would expect, but it'll be awesome!

Prom Weekend
Week of April 13, 2012
Status: Take a Break
This weekend is our prom so no one in our group will be able to do anything. All we did in class this week was discuss what time next week we would begin to put all the parts together to make the first claymore.

Finally Getting Parts
Week of April 6, 2012
Status: Got the parts
This week nathan is able to go out and gather the parts we need in order to make the claymore finally! I will have pictures up next week to show you some of our progress on building! Hopefully we will be able to get a video up too.

Update
Week of March 23, 2010
Status: Nothing new
This week we came back from spring break and were still recovering from the week off. With Nathan out of town, and I busy with my family and volleyball we didn't really have time to build much of anything. Hopefully soon we will be able to get togther at Nathan's and build some!

Week of Spring Break
March 9, 2012
Status: Nathan will be gone, and it'll be up to me and Michael.
This upcoming week Nathan will be in Colorado for spring break. He is going with some friends. Michael and I will still be here in town, so we will have to find a day where we can meet up together and go over the project and see when we want to begin building or if we would like to start building during the week. Nothing very big is going to happen this week, and all we have done for this week so far is our updated powerpoint to let people know how our project is going.

Status: Finalized brainstorming
This week my group and I finished brainstorming and have come up with a solid plan. We were deciding if we really wanted to make the string claymore, because it doesn't shoot out very far and it wont shoot out actual paintballs. So we thought maybe we could make one from CO2 because then it could shoot out the paintballs and explode at a further distance. But we finally decided that we would stick with the string one and if we really weren't satisfied with how it turned out we could change over to the CO2 one.

Finished Presentation/Get Supplies
February 24, 2012
This week my group and I did our slide show presentation of the project roadmap. We presented to the class our purpose, goals, "out of scope" ideas and "set backs". This way the whole class was up to date with what our schedule, plans and ideas were for the Claymore.
Also, in our group, Nathan has begin to gather parts for our first string claymore. Hopefully he will get everything he needs by this weekend to begin building.

Completed Roadmap
February 17, 2012
Status: This week we finally completed typing the Roadmap.
All we have left to do with our roap map would make edits if Mr. Zimmerman recommends any. We have it all typed out though. The total isn't 3-5 pages, but in reality I think that is a little to long for a Roadmap. I mean there really is only so much you can talk about before you just make up stuff or talk in circles.

Progress Contines
Febraury 10, 2012
Status: Discussing how to make each one.
This week Michael, Nathan and I have been discussing what we needed to do to make sure each claymore has the most potential possible. We have decided that we will go to the store and get about 5x the supplies of the simple things we need so incase 1 fails we will be able to recover and try again until we have it right. Hopefully sometime soon we will get the the actual building and I will be able to post pictures explaining and showing the steps and process we did to build it.

Into the Roadmap
February 3
Status: Into the Roadmap
My group and I have officially written the first paragraph of our project roadmap. This is the paragraph that describes our project title and project purpose. Which we decided was to help inform ourselves about different types of contraptions working together as one. We also want other people to be able to make it, with simple steps that don't require hard intricate work, but still get A+ quality.

Beginning Project Roadmap
January 27
Status: Begin to Discuss Project Roadmap
This week my group and I discussed how we want to write in our project roadmap. We decided that Michael would write it as Nathan and I brainstormed and came up with the specific elements of what we wanted each topic to have.

Starting Off
January 20, 2012
Status: Begin discussing what we have to do.
This week we spent our time going over and creating our project timeline/roadmap.
We decided what our project title would be. We named it Paintball Claymore. That way it was short sweet and to the point. We discussed our purpose and the objectives/goals we had in order to accomplish this project. Our group came up with a work statement and key deliverables. Basically meaning we would share our approach and method in how we would complete the project. In order to start the project though we thought we must have a list of the supplies we needed, so we came up with our "out of scope list" We have a few "milestones" that we are going to reach so we can stay organized and on task during the time of completing our project. We don't really have many constraints or assumptions because the building supplies and cost are fairly reasonable and nothing fancy. Finally we discussed between eachother our team composition, like who would be team manager and what are our sponsors to help our projects.
